Leatherman - Select Between A Small Leatherman Tool Or A Larger Leatherman Tool Loaded With Many Tools

by Chris on February 15, 2010

I guess you can refer to me as a jack of all tasks, master of none. I often was in a situation without the correct multi tool when I was needed to do something simple like tighten a screw.

I attempted to resolve the problem by taking with me a Swiss Army Pocket Knife Swiss Champ but unfortunately I managed to lose it. After some time I found myself needing something to take its place and even though I felt that the Swiss Army was impressive, it did lack toughness. I then went for the Leatherman Wave, which I also lost after a couple of years of use. I finally decided I ought to buy another, but didn't go for the Wave due to the fact that all my shorts would get holes in the pockets since it was so heavy. So, the end result was something small and lightweight.

Bring to the fore the Leatherman Micra. I wish I had opted for this one in the beginning as it has proved to be a very rugged tool for its tiny size. It boasts a nice pair of scissors, a sharp small blade, tweezers, a nail file/cleaner, flat Phillips screwdriver, very small and medium screwdriver, bottle opener, and a ruler. Best of all it fits nicely in your trousers pocket and if you hook it up to your keys, you simply won't travel without it.

- Easy to carry wherever you go.
