Determining The Perfect Style Of Listing For Your Online EBay Auctions. Set Up Your Auctions The Best They Can Be.

One thing you will need to think about if you decide to sell your items on eBay is which listing style to use. There are three main auction styles unless you are selling real estate ,then there would be one more, but I will just describe the main consumer item style auctions here. You may not consider that having only three choices would be that challenging to decide on but each style has its own benefits.
First we will take a look at the Online eBay Auction, This is the most applied and the original, traditional style listing format used on eBay. This is the type of auction most enthusiastic, deal searching eBay members are looking for when they visit eBay looking for the unmatchable deals. This is a very customizable auction style because you can combine your listing with a Buy-It-Now option to give your potential customers a way to finish the bidding process and buy the item directly from you.
You manage to set the price at whatever you would like to receive for your item and add this to your auction listings. I would recommend however, if you are selling a collectible type item, just let it go all the way through the auction without setting a Buy-It-Now price, because usually you will realize a much more significant selling price.
The next type of auction would be the Fixed Price style auction. Using a fixed price sale style is like setting up a store in a mall and selling your items. It is a very easy way for your customers to visit and finish their transaction with you, however many possible customers can get confounded when they see this style of auction. The possible customers are on eBay searching for an auction and if they don't see the listing as an auction they may leave without purchasing from you. They may like better the auction type in that they regard an auction style as having a better deal.
The final style is setting up an online eBay store with stock. After you open your eBay store you list items and it makes a really accessible place to sell your things linked to your other auction and fixed style listings you have. Setting up a store is a little time consuming but once you have your entire inventory listed it's very easy to re-list your items that sell.
